- According to China Business News, Bright Oceans, a Chinese telecom support and services provider, announced on August 20 that it has obtained a contract from China Mobile to set up the management system for TD-SCDMA trial networks, covering the eight trial cities. Financial details of this deal were not yet disclosed.

 

- According to China Economic Net, Datang Mobile's equipment supply projects for TD-SCDMA trial networks in Shanghai, Guangzhou, Baoding, and Qingdao have been much delayed. Respectively, only 17%, 16%, 26% and 8% of Datang's projects have been carried out by now. Network construction projects in the aforementioned cities were originally slated for completion by October 2007.
